ACT Schedule Changes For 4-9-25

4/9/25

Dear LZHS Families of 9th, 10th, and 11th Graders,

As you may be aware, today is an ACT testing day for 9th - 11th graders. This standardized test is required by the state and is used as a benchmark tool for student performance and sometimes as criteria for college admissions. Today, the ACT testing system (not District 95) had a technical malfunction that delayed students from logging in on time, resulting in a delayed start of the test. This means that students will NOT be dismissed at the anticipated times - Freshmen/Sophomores at 11:25am, Juniors at 12:45pm - but will be released approximately 30 minutes later than originally scheduled:

Revised dismissal times for today
Freshmen/Sophomores - 11:55pm
Juniors - 1:15pm

We apologize for the delay, but please understand that the platform is managed by ACT and not by the district - this delay is affecting school districts all across the state.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

John Walsh
LZHS Principal
