LZHS Families,

We are so excited to announce we will be celebrating LZHS’s Starry Nights and City Lights next week with all the tradition, excitement and school spirit you’ve come to expect from this great school!  

LZHS’s Homecoming will always be a time of celebration for our students, staff and community.  We have planned a week full of exciting events for everyone to reconnect with old friends, make new memories, and to show support for all things that make LZHS great!

Homecoming Dance:

Date: Saturday, September 20th

Time: 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Location: LZHS Stadium

Ticket Price: $20

(Tickets are on sale until 11:59 pm on Tuesday, September 16th)

Important Information:

• • Your student ID will be your ticket into the dance
    • If you are bringing an outside guest, they will need to be with you when you check in so we can verify them.  Your ID is their ticket into the dance as well.
    • Students will be able to leave at any time.  We will check students in and out of the dance using 5Star.
  • Since we will be outside on the turf, here are some recommendations:
    • Bring an extra pair of sandals or shoes to make walking on the turf easy (we will have a shoe/coat check in at the concession stand for free).
    • High heel shoes are safe to wear on the turf but it will be difficult to walk as the turf surface is not a solid surface.
• Bring a coat or sweatshirt.  We will be outside as long as the temperature stays about 68 degrees. 
• The concession stand will be open to purchase snacks.
• We will have free water available at the concession stand.
• We will have games and other fun activities in the south end zone during the dance.
• The stadium porta potties will be available throughout the night.  

Inclement Weather Plan:

We will be monitoring the weather all week with the intent on making a decision if we will move indoors by 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17th.  If the decision is made to move the dance indoors, we will be sure to communicate this out by email and text messaging using our mass communication system.  Additionally, we will post this information to the high school webpage.  If we move the dance indoors, we will hold it in our fieldhouse as we have done in the past.
