Homecoming Week is a time-honored tradition at Lake Zurich High School, and this year, Student Council is getting TANGLED in the Magic of Fairytales theme to help us celebrate as a school community!

Sunday, September 29

  • Club/Sport Hallway Decorating 

Monday, September 30

  • Dress up theme: PJ Day

Tuesday, October 1

  • Dress up theme: Twin Day
  • Girls Football Games: Juniors 7:00pm and Seniors 8:15pm. To purchase tickets go to GoFan and select Girls Football game. All proceeds go to the LZHS Student Council to be used for LZHS students. No Passes will be accepted.

Wednesday, October 2

  • Dress up theme: Color Wars
  • Freshman: Orange; Sophomores: Red; Juniors: Green; Seniors: Purple; Staff: Yellow

Thursday, October 3

  • Dress up theme: Royalty (Formal Attire)
  • Volleyball 6:00 vs Carmel
  • Soccer 7:00 vs Waukegan

Friday, October 4

  • Dress up theme: Bear Blue 
  • Pep Assembly: 8th period 
  • Football Game: LZHS vs Zion-Benton @7pm


We'll see you all in our Field House to celebrate our time-honored tradition: the
Homecoming Pep Assembly! The assembly will feature performances, games, the
crowning of our homecoming royalty, and more!

Football vs Zion-Benton 7:00pm

A special recognition will be held at halftime of the varsity game present the Distinguished Alumni representatives.

Saturday, October 5

Homecoming Dance

The week's culminating event, the homecoming dance, will take place at Lake Zurich
High School (Field House) 7:00pm - 10:00pm.

Tickets sales for our students will be from Monday, September 23 – Friday, October 4 @ 12pm
for $30/person. All tickets must be purchased online as there will be no ticket sales at the door on the day of the dance.

Purchase of Two or More Tickets for LZHS Students:
If you are purchasing tickets for yourself and another LZHS student, please follow this guide and make sure to have the ID number of the other LZ student you are buying a ticket for:

Guests from Other Schools:
Non-Lake Zurich students are welcome to attend the homecoming dance as a guest of
a Lake Zurich High School student. To begin the non-Lake Zurich guest approval
process, please follow these steps:
 

  • Obtain a guest form from the Dean's office.

  • Fill out the form completely and submit it to the Dean's office.

  • The Dean's office will provide the LZ student name and guest name to the Assistant Principal.

  • The Assistant Principal will enter the guest information into 5star.

  • Once the information is entered, the LZ student can log into 5star and purchase both prom tickets.  Dr. Lambert will notify you by email once the guest has been entered.
