Yearbook portraits for all grades will take place at the same time as the textbook pick-up schedule. Please review the schedule and details about textbook pick up and yearbook photography below.

**The makeup portrait sessions will be held upstairs in the Learning & Innovation HUB.

There is no fee to have your portrait taken and printed in the yearbook.  However, if you wish to purchase your portrait it will be available online through the VIP website:

During this event you will be picking up the textbooks needed for your first semester courses.  You may want to bring a backpack to carry your textbooks.  Please enter at the main entrance (Door #29) and follow the signs to begin the process.

*If you are an LZHS athlete and you have practice during the scheduled time of your photo/textbook pickup, please come on that same day at a different time or a different day that works for you.

If you have not yet picked up your 2025-26 LZHS yearbook and supplement, you will be able to do so during this event.

If your student has been awarded an LZHS parking spot for the 2026-27 school year, they should pick up their parking stickers during book pickup.  Stickers must be displayed on the front windshield of their car and students should park only in their assigned spot on the first day of school.  Parking fees must be paid online using Pushcoin prior to picking up the sticker. 

Students should bring to material distribution:

• Student drivers' license
• Car information (make, model, year, color, license plate number)

Please note that all fees and charges for the 2026-2027 school year, as well as any outstanding fees from prior years, must be paid in full by July 24, 2026, in order to receive your parking permit during the week of August 4, 2026.

Permits that have not been paid in-full by July 24, 2026 will not be eligible for pick-up the week of August 3, 2026.  Those who pay in-full between July 24 and August 7, 2026 will be able to pick up their parking pass on August 24, 2026.  If payment has not been received by August 7, 2026, the parking pass will be forfeited and the spot will be re-sold to another student. 

No refunds will be issued for paid parking placards after August 28, 2026.

Juniors who are in good standing with the Deans Office and Seniors who have obtained at least 18 credits and are in good standing with the Dean's Office may apply for off-campus privileges.  Please print off the Off-Campus Permission Form (below), fill it out and submit it to the Deans Office table during material distribution.  There will also be copies of the Off-Campus Permission Form at Material Distribution.

All students in Grade 9, along with all newly enrolled students at LZHS, will receive new iPads for the upcoming school year. You may pick up your new iPad from our Technology Team during LZHS Material Distribution. To receive your new iPad, please refer to the directions below.

• Prepare to turn in your iPad by backing up any important photos or notes to Google Drive.  Directions are available on the district website on the Technical Support Page. We are also available to help by email. Students must return previously issued iPad, case, and charger to receive their new iPad.

• iPads not picked up during material distribution will be exchanged during the first few days of school during the school day at the tech office in the A-hallway.
